Job Summary

This position is responsible for facilitating and assisting in the execution of implant hands on training programs within dental schools and post-doctoral residency programs across the Northeast.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Aid in the scheduling and coordination of training materials for such programs
- Coordinate materials and representative support for regional programs such as the New York MaxiCourse and Dental Implant Learning Center
- Assist the Zimmer Biomet Institute with course support and materials management backup
- On occasion, help with regional educational programs such as the NYU Global Implantology Week and other regional based continuing education programs

Must have demonstrated detail orientation, analytical assessment, and alertness to change
Must have demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
Must have demonstrated excellence in customer service, relationship building, and team work skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to learn and independently assist with all surgical techniques
Must be able to coordinate and schedule multiple personnel for multiple locations
Must be able to work with Anatomical Materials
Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds of anatomical materials and equipment
Must be able to work some evenings and weekends

Education/Experience Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or General Education Diploma equivalent.
Associate Degree in technical field or previous experience in peri-operative setting required
Prefer surgical Technical Certification
Dental industry background preferred
Basic working experience with Microsoft Office
Prefer experience working with and cleaning lab and surgical equipment
Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and medical terminology is preferable
Must become Blood Born Pathogen Certified
Must have Tuberculosis Test if participating in live surgery

Travel Requirements

Regional travel required up to 75% with overnight stays
